DUTIES
- To teach in accordance with the goals, content, and framework of the VA kindergarten English curriculum at VA Schools;
- To prepare lesson plans in accordance with the regulations of the professional department; to prepare teaching aids such as pictures, materials, and supplementary exercises; to get into the classroom on time according to the teaching schedule;
- To prepare and submit Mini-test papers in accordance with the regulations of the professional department;
- To grade Mini-tests, monitor, evaluate, write comments on the Kidsonline app daily and on the Kindergarten English Progress Report termly;
- To exchange information on student learning and behaviour with the Vietnamese English teachers after class.
- To carry out self-study and self-improvement;
- To fully participate in professional meetings, seminars, training, and other professional activities;
- To participate in events, extracurricular activities and festivals of the School;
- To perform other tasks as assigned by superiors.
REQUIREMENTS :
- Nationality: Preference given to native English-speaking teachers.
- Gender: No specific requirement.
- Age: 23 – 40 years old.
- English proficiency: Proof of English language proficiency is not required for native speakers of English.
- Proof of English language proficiency is not required for native speakers of English.
- IT Skills: Proficient in office computing and other tools to support management and teaching.
- Other: Communication skills, presentation skills, management and organizational skills, and teamwork skills.
- Bachelor’s degrees in other fields, University.
- Experience in a similar position: At least 1 year.
- Preference given to candidates with experience working and teaching in a bilingual and international preschool environment.
- Professional Skills: English teaching certification (TESOL, CELTA, TEFL) if candidates hold a bachelor’s degree in other fields, not in education.
- Certification in Early Childhood Education or English Teaching Methods for Kindergarten Children.
