DUTIES:
- To teach in line with the objectives, content, and framework of the VA Lower Secondary English Program.
- To assume the role of homeroom teacher as assigned.
- To participate in entry assessment as agreed upon.
- To prepare and submit lesson plans as required by the department, and to prepare teaching aids such as pictures, materials, and supplementary exercises.
- To prepare and submit midterm and final test papers in accordance with department regulations.
- To invigilate exams; grade papers; monitor, evaluate, and provide feedback on students’ learning progress.
- To engage in self-study and professional development.
- To participate in meetings, workshops, training sessions, and other professional development activities.
- To collaborate with the Vietnamese homeroom teacher of English to discuss student progress and attend parent–teacher meetings as scheduled by the school.
- To participate in school events, competitions, extracurricular activities, and festivals.
- To perform other tasks assigned by the line manager.
REQUREMENTS:
- University Qualification: All majors accepted.
- Educational Level: University degree or higher.
- Nationality: British, Americans, Australians, New Zealanders, and Canadians preferred.
- Foreign languages (if necessary):Not required for native speakers Other: C1 level or above in English (CEFR) required for non-native speakers.
- Computer literacy (if necessary): Proficient in office software.
- Soft skills: Communication, presentation, classroom management, organization, and teamwork.
- Other: Valid work permit and visa required.
- Experience in a similar position: 1 year or more.
- Certificate: C1 level or above in English (CEFR) required for non-native speakers.
